Make a selection by choosing a CO2 category.

    CO2-classification system
As a consequence of a European Directive, a CO2-emission and fuel consumption based classification system for passenger cars was introduced. A 7 colour code scheme was introduced to help you compare the CO2-emission of a certain vehicle to other vehicles. These colours correspond to different levels of CO2-emission.

Each colour corresponds to a category, starting from A (lowest emission) to G (highest emission).
Subsidy for vehicles with a low CO2-emission
Starting on January 1st 2005, a subsidy is given to vehicles with a low CO2-emission.
    • When your new car emits less than 105 g CO2 /km, you can benefit from a subsidiy up to 15% of the price of your car (with a maximum of € 3 280, subject to index).
    • When your new car emits between 105 and 115 g CO2 /km uit, you can benefit from a subsidiy up to 3 % of the price of your car (with a maximum of € 615, subject to index).
